How long is the Amazon Spring Sale?

The Amazon Spring Sale runs from Tuesday 10 March to Monday 16 March, giving you six whole days to pick up a bargain. I’ll be here each day bringing you the very best deals as they land.

Do I need a Prime membership for the Amazon Spring Sale?

No, you don’t need an Amazon Prime membership to shop in the Spring Sale. But signing up for an Amazon Prime membership does give you free one-day delivery, as well as other benefits such as Prime Video. If you want to try it out, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial – just remember to cancel before renewal if you don’t want to be charged £8.99 automatically.

How to find the best deals in the Amazon Spring Sale 2026

The key to finding a bargain at Amazon is to know the difference between a pre-sale price and a recommended retail price (RRP). Amazon uses both, but neither of them tell the whole story.

In short, a pre-sale price tells you how much an item has cost in the past (though it might not say when it was sold at this price). An RRP is what the manufacturer suggests the item is sold for but, importantly, the product may have never actually been sold at this price.

To work out whether a deal is really as good as it seems, you’ll want to work out how much the item usually costs at Amazon, and whether the product is cheaper at other retailers.

Try pasting the Amazon link for the relevant sale item into the price-tracking website Camelcamelcamel. You’ll be shown a graph charting how the item’s price has changed since Amazon started selling it, so you can check whether the reduction is as significant as you first thought.

You can find out whether Amazon’s offering the lowest price available by shopping around or by typing the product’s name into the website PriceRunner to compare prices across different retailers.

Get 40% off our fashion writer’s favourite clothes steamer

I love a good clothes steamer, especially when they look like an iron from the year 3000. For example, the Russell Hobbs’s steam genie, which looks like something Jean Luc Picard would use to get creases out of his Starfleet trousers.

Russell Hobbs steam genie two-in-one handheld clothes steamer: Was £59.99, now £36.48, Amazon.co.uk(Amazon)

As well as looking cool, the steam genie steamed its way to the top spot of our list of the best clothes steamers. Fashion writer Daisy Lester rated the powerful steam-trigger function, praising its power output, which “meant each section could be smoothed in just one or two rounds”. Even better, it doubles as a standard iron, making “light work of shirts, creased trousers and furnishing surfaces”.
