California Highway Patrol officers are searching for a hit-and-run driver who walked away from a deadly crash in the East Los Angeles area Monday night.
Video showed the pedestrian narrowly avoiding being struck by two other vehicles just moments before the fatal collision, which was reported around 11 p.m. on Olympic Boulevard near Arizona Avenue.
The pedestrian was hit by a driver in a white sedan. The sedan, which had severe front-end damage, was left at the scene.

Witnesses told officers the driver got out, walked away and did not stop to help the pedestrian he had just hit.
The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not immediately clear whether the victim was crossing on a green or red light.
