SAN ANTONIO (KABB) — A man and a woman are dead following a violent shooting late Sunday night, in what police are calling a deadly love triangle.

Police have identified the suspect as 49-year-old Lorenzo Aleman, who is believed to have been involved in a romantic relationship with the female victim. According to officers, Aleman and the 41-year-old woman were married. Investigators say Aleman shot both victims in a fit of jealousy during the meeting.

Deadly gunfire erupted just before 11 p.m. near where the victims had reportedly arranged to meet.

Investigators said an argument broke out between the three individuals, escalating into gunfire.

When San Antonio Police arrived on the scene, they found both victims — a 41-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man — suffering from gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

After the shooting, Aleman took off in a white SUV and has not yet been located. Authorities are working to release a full description and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
