Freight Fried Chicken, one of the Host True Flavors concession concepts, is coming to San Antonio International Airport’s Terminal A late 2025.
The details
As one of nine concepts approved by the San Antonio City Council in 2024, Freight Fried Chicken is part of the new concession and retail shops slated for terminals A and B.
Freight Fried Chicken was created by James Beard nominated Chef Nicola Blaque and opened the first location inside the Food Hall at Bottling in The Pearl. The menu features fried chicken baskets, chicken tenders, biscuits and sandwiches. Sides include mac-n-cheese, seasoned fries, slaw and loaded potato salad.
According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the renovation and alteration project will begin on Aug. 1 and be completed by Dec. 1. Construction is estimated to cost $250,000.
