A 16-year-old boy known for his spunky personality fell to his death Friday while snapping social media photos from a cell tower at a Brooklyn park with sweeping views of the city skyline.

Timithee Englund, a sophomore at Manhattan Village Academy High School, plummeted from the top of the tower inside Bushwick Intel Park at North 10th Street and Kent Avenue around 1:15 p.m., police said.

Cops responded to the scene after receiving a 911 call and rushed the critical teen to Bellevue Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The boy’s heartbroken parents, Tobias and Yvette Englund, remembered their son as an energetic teen who loved playing sports and hitting the gym.

“He was amazing, he was loving,” Yvette, 52, said Friday night, with Tobias adding that Timithee “was goofy” and “funny.”

“We cracked a bunch of jokes together,” the 57-year-old dad said.

They said he spent his free time playing soccer and basketball and planned to start wrestling in the fall.

The bereaved parents – who found solace looking through their son’s photos – still don’t know how or why he fell.

“He fell off a tower at the power,” Tobias said.

“That’s all that we know.”

Sources said the boy was taking social media photos when the tragic fall happened, though it was not immediately clear who was with him at the time or who called 911.

The seemingly abandoned cell tower is surrounded by a fence, but it’s not much of a deterrent.

A Post reporter spotted three youngsters slipping under the fence hours after Friday’s tragedy.

“We come in here all the time,” one of the kids said before the trio left after learning the teen had fatally tumbled from the tower.
