OPINION — I speak Dolores Huerta’s name to honor her pain, her truth, her story.
I say your name, Dolores Huerta, because the truth about sexual violence has left many women’s experiences minimized and completely erased.
Though we may never know all their names and the harm done to them, we remember that the silence many are forced to carry to protect a movement, a boss, a spouse or a president is an injustice to women everywhere.
