On Sunday, March 8, 2026, NASCAR and Team Penske driver Ryan Blaney clinched the win of the Straight Talk Wireless 500 at Phoenix Raceway. Blaney’s first race win of the season boosted his position in the series drivers’ standings, second to the only other race winner so far in the 2026 season, Tyler Reddick. The 2026 Straight Talk Wireless 500, an anticipated race weekend in combination with IndyCar, brought over 50,000 attendees. Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell led a total of 176 laps out of 312. Bell finished the race in second position with Kyle Larson, Ty Gibbs, and Denny Hamlin rounding out the top five. Blaney’s win at the Straight Talk Wireless 500 makes him an 18-time Cup Series race winner and marks his second win in two seasons at Phoenix Raceway.
