PHOENIX – Authorities issued a SAFE Alert on Friday for a 78-year-old woman who was last seen four days earlier in Phoenix.
Anna Louise Mendoza has a medical condition that can cause her to become lost or easily confused, according to the alert.
Mendoza was last seen around 6:45 p.m. Monday in the area of 27th Avenue and Durango Street. She was wearing a maroon polo shirt, blue jeans, white socks, white shoes and reading glasses.
The subject is described as 5 feet tall and 150 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.
Anybody with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6141.
SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
