JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Drivers traveling on I-295 South were sitting in traffic from Pulaski Road to the Dames Point Bridge Friday afternoon.
The Dames Point Bridge has been undergoing daytime southbound lane closures Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance, according to FDOT.
Two southbound lanes of the bridge were blocked Wednesday afternoon.
The Florida Department of Transportation also said a crash on I-295 South was blocking the right shoulder near Pulaski Road, as of 5:30 p.m.
That crash has since been cleared.
