What to Know
- A Flood Watch is in effect for southeastern Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia, New Castle County in Delaware and parts of South Jersey Wednesday afternoon through 3 a.m. on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
- There will be a risk of slow-moving downpours late Wednesday night through early Thursday morning.
- In addition to the rain and flood risk, conditions will feel warm and tropical overnight into Thursday morning.
- A heat advisory will also be in effect for the entire region on Thursday from 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. with stifling heat and humidity that will make it feel like over 100 degrees.
- In addition to the dangerous heat, there will be more storms Thursday between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
- Thursday will be cloudy, warm and humid with spotty showers before 7 a.m. and partly cloudy conditions by Thursday afternoon with stifling humidity.
