Iga Swiatek has just added the Wimbledon trophy to her stunning trophy collection, which now includes six Grand Slam titles.

Swiatek is taking a break after winning Wimbledon, having secured the title with a ruthless 6-0, 6-0 final win over Amanda Anisimova.

The Pole has now won all six of her career Grand Slam finals, with four French Open wins and one US Open success also among her honours list.

Swiatek was overjoyed with her Wimbledon win, which has helped to bring her back into the top three of the WTA rankings.

Aryna Sabalenka has stayed in top spot after reaching the Wimbledon semifinals, while Coco Gauff remains in second despite her first round exit.

All eyes will now be on Swiatek as the US Open approaches, but right now she will still be celebrating her superb Wimbledon success.

And it represents a complete change from her very first outing at Wimbledon, where the Pole was drawn to face Viktorija Golubic in round one.

And it was her Swiss opponent who emerged victorious, winning their meeting 6-2, 7-6(7-3) on Court 11 at the All England Club.

It was their first match on the WTA Tour, with Swiatek quickly getting her revenge by winning their two meetings since in Doha and Miami, both in 2022.

Golubic continued to impress at Wimbledon in 2019 after knocking out Swiatek, winning her round two tie with Yulia Putintseva.

But after that 6-4, 7-6(7-3) success, she was defeated 7-5, 6-3 by Dayana Yastremska in the third round at SW19.

Now 32, Golubic has enjoyed a fantastic career on the WTA Tour, where she has won two titles and once reached 35th in the world rankings.

She has since slipped to 85th, and like Gauff recently suffered a first round exit at Wimbledon, losing to Ann Li.

Swiatek meanwhile has clearly got over that first round defeat in 2019, with the Pole having just added a grass court Grand Slam to her collection.

She now needs only the Australian Open title to complete the career Grand Slam, with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz also just one Grand Slam short of completing the achievement.
