Two people were arrested Wednesday in connection with a large-scale cargo theft and e-commerce resale scheme, authorities said.

Hannah Noto, 25, of North Hills, and Jude Bigay, 26, of Sunland, admitted to defrauding multiple clothing companies and selling stolen merchandise on the live-stream shopping platform Whatnot, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Authorities searched a warehouse on the 16700 block of Stagg Street in Van Nuys, uncovering more than 55 pallets of stolen commercial and train cargo, including products from EDIKTED, ALO, SKIMS, Ariat, Milwaukee, Ninja, Dyson, and Duracell.

Authorities estimated the value of the stolen property at $1 million.

Detectives from the LAPD’s Commercial Crimes Division—Cargo Theft Task Force, along with other agencies, also executed search warrants in North Hills, West Los Angeles, and Sunland.

Both Noto and Bigay were booked at Van Nuys Jail for receiving stolen property, according to LAPD.

Officials said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
