Order Chaos Theater Company will present “A Moon for the Misbegotten,” Eugene O’Neill’s powerful personal drama, at the Kax Stage in the Herberger Theater Center.

Inspired by autobiographical elements of O’Neill’s life, “A Moon for the Misbegotten” follows James “Jim” Tyrone, Jr. as he arrives at the home of his tenant farmer, Mike Hogan, a salty Irish patriarch. During a single moonlit night, Jim encounters Hogan’s formidable daughter, Josie, setting the stage for an emotionally charged confrontation filled with longing, guilt, remorse, and the possibility of redemption. When dawn arrives, the moon — and Jim — are gone, leaving Josie to face a new challenge to her unbreakable spirit.

The show runs from Friday, April 10 through Sunday, April 26 on the Herberger’s Kax Stage.
