Dallas police discovered a body in the Trinity River near the Great Trinity Forest Way in southeast Dallas Friday, according to authorities.
At 4:56 p.m., officers responded to a call for service in the 6500 block of Great Trinity Forest Way, the release said. Investigators found a body in the river.
Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans told The Dallas Morning News the agency was called to the scene at 5:06 p.m., to help get a body out of the water.
The identity of the individual was not released. No other information was immediately available.
