With the conclusion of Wimbledon, all eyes are on the build-up to the fourth and final major of the year, which will see a switch-up in the mixed doubles scene.
Earlier this year, the US Open announced a change to its mixed doubles tournament, cutting the field from 32 teams to 16, and bringing it forward to the first week of the event.
It will also now feature several top-ranked ATP and WTA singles stars, who will partner up in the newly revamped format to contend for the title.
One of those partnerships will see the Wimbledon champion Jannik Sinner play alongside world number 11 Emma Navarro, who recently sent a message to the Italian ahead of their campaign together.

In a post on social media, Navarro said: “Hey Jannik, it’s Emma here, just want to say a huge congratulations on the Wimbledon title.
“I watched a lot of your matches. I watched the final and you look like you’re playing a lot of good tennis.
“But I’m just getting a little worried because I didn’t see that much net play. You did hit a tweener between your legs at the net at one point, which was kind of cool, or whatever, but you missed the overhead. I don’t know if that even counts.
“I’m going to need you to just put in a good bit of work at the net on the doubles court in the next month or so
“Then hopefully, you know, you can improve that part of your game because I’m out here working hard in doubles pretty much every day, so I need you to step up your game a little bit and sort of match my level a little bit.
“Let’s get to work buddy.”

24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will team up with Serbian compatriot Olga Danilovic, while American duo Jessica Pegula and Tommy Paul will take centre stage.
