If you need a dental cleaning or a new prescription for your glasses, stop by a free health clinic this weekend.

On July 19 and 20, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and the University of Cincinnati’s chapter of Remote Area Medical, a nonprofit that offers free medical care in underserved areas around the country, is hosting the pop-up clinic at St. Xavier High School. Dental, vision and other medical services will be provided.

The clinic is open to anyone in need, and all services are provided free of charge.

You can follow the event’s Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.

No ID or insurance required, but patients advised to arrive early

St. Xavier, in Springfield Township, is located at 600 W. North Bend Road. Patients do not need to provide ID or proof of insurance but are advised to arrive as early as possible.

Clinic doors open at 6 a.m. and services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to time constraints, patients will likely need to choose between dental or vision. All patients are offered general medical care.

The patient parking lot will open at 11:59 p.m. on Friday July 18, the night before the clinic opens, and remain open through Sunday. The clinic closes when it reaches full capacity, and Sunday’s hours are abbreviated.

The following free services will be provided at the clinic:

  • Dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, X-rays
  • Eye exams and eyeglass prescriptions (glasses made on-site)
  • Women’s health exams
  • General medical exams

Anthem is also distributing free school backpacks during its wellness and resource fair on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
