NY1’s “Finding Home” segment features animals up for adoption around the five boroughs.
Among the pets up for adoption at Animal Care Centers of NYC is a sweet 2-year-old pup named Potato.
Potato is still a little shy about the world around her, but when she warms up, she can be quite affectionate. She is great on a leash.
Also up for adoption is 4-year-old Daisy, a sweet and friendly cat who is quick to greet visitors at the door.
Daisy absolutely adores cuddles, pets and all the attention she can get.
For more information on either of these animals, head to a pet adoption pop-up being held at The Spot BK at 232 Varet St. in Brooklyn this weekend.
The event will take place Saturday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, July 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are waived adoption fees for large dogs and adult cats.
More information about the event, or any of the animals up for adoption at Animal Care Centers of NYC, can be found on the organization’s website.
