Potbelly Sandwich Works, known for its soups, sandwiches and baked goods with hundreds of restaurants in the U.S., is targeting Denver for its next major expansion.
The company recently signed with a Denver franchisee who plans to open 20 locations in the Denver area in the coming years, adding to the 10 company-owned locations already in the Denver area.
The first location could open within a year, said Todd Owen, the brand’s regional director of franchise development. Together, the 20 locations are expected to create around 400 jobs, Owen said.
