JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was grazed on the top of his head by a bullet after a physical altercation in front of a Springfield home on Wednesday evening, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

Officials responded to the 1500 block of North Market Street in reference to a man who was shot.

JSO said the victim got into a physical altercation with another man in front of a home. Later, the victim was sitting in his car when a black car approached his car and a man got out and began shooting at the victim.

Investigators said one of the bullets grazed the man on the top of his head. The shooter went back to his car fled the area in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information is asked to call JSO at 904-630-0500 or email jsocrimetips@jaxsheriff.org or CrimeStoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
