While the Cavaliers are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, they may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Cavaliers rule out Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen for Hawks game

For the Cavaliers, they have five players listed on their injury report for Friday’s game, including both Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen.

Cleveland has ruled out Mitchell due to ankle injury management as he will miss his first game since April 6.

With Mitchell sidelined, Keon Ellis and Max Strus could both be in line for increased roles while the Cavaliers will likely rely on James Harden and Evan Mobley to carry the load offensively.

The Cavaliers have also ruled out Allen due to knee injury management as he will miss his first game since April 5.

With Allen sidelined, Larry Nance Jr. could be in line for an increased role, especially with Thomas Bryant being ruled out due to calf injury management.

Sam Merrill has also been ruled out due to hamstring injury management while Jaylon Tyson has been listed as probable and appears ready to return from a 10-game absence due to a toe injury.
