The NBA Play-In Tournament matchup between the Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers is set for Tuesday at Mortgage Matchup Center.
The game, which will be broadcast on Prime Video, will tip off at 7 p.m. MST.
The winner of the Suns-Trail Blazers game will face the No. 2 San Antonio Spurs as the seventh seed in the first round of the playoffs.
The loser of the matchup will host the winner of the matchup between the No. 9 Los Angeles Clippers and No. 10 Golden State Warriors on Friday in a single-elimination play-in game for the eighth seed. The winner will face the No. 1 Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.
Should the Suns advance past the play-in, they would play Game 1 of the first round of the NBA playoffs on the road on Sunday.
Tuesday’s play-in matchup will mark the Suns’ first appearance in the play-in tournament. The Suns (45-37) locked themselves in as the seventh seed in the play-in tournament with a win against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. The Trail Blazers clinched the eighth seed in the play-in tournament with a win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.
The Suns won the regular-season series against the Trail Blazers 2-1.
The NBA play-in tournament begins Tuesday, with the playoffs starting Saturday.
