Astronomer CEO Andy Byron found himself at the center of a social media firestorm this week when cameras appeared to catch him having an intimate moment with a woman who is not his wife at a Coldplay concert. Now, Astronomer has made a telling move on social media.

This week, unverified reports identified Byron as the man at the center of a viral video in which he appeared to be dancing closely with his arms around a woman – who has been unverifiedly identified as Astronomer’s Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot – at a Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts, before quickly ducking out of view when they found themselves on the concert’s jumbo screen.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin took note of the awkward situation as it happened, suggesting in real time that there was a chance the couple was just caught having an affair.

“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” Martin can be heard saying as the two ducked out of view.

Here is the video of the incident, which has gone totally viral on social media.

Men’s Journal has reached out to Astronomer for comment on the accusations surrounding Byron and Cabot, including whether they have been falsely identified. Astronomer has not yet responded to requests, but the tech company did make a rather telling move on social media as the video began to spread.

After Byron and Cabot were identified and the video began to go viral on social media, Astronomer made the decision to limit the replies on all of their posts on X. This followed some critical comments made by social media users.

While this move does not necessarily confirm that Byron and Cabot were indeed the ones identified in the viral video, it is certainly telling, especially in the absence of a comment from Astronomer.

It’s worth noting that Byron’s wife has made a telling move on social media, as well.
