Representing six different states, the early foundation of Penn State’s next freshman class has come together in swift fashion. Some were established long-term targets of head coach Matt Campbell dating back to his time at Iowa State, while others secured scholarship offers and built rapport with the new staff during recent months.
“I’m a huge person in relationships,” Campbell said earlier this month. “Who fits Penn State? Who fits our culture? And so we’re going to do it slow and right, and we’re going to make sure any young man that we try to bring in here is the right fit for our football program.”
