GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Former Gator and 2025 MLB Draft selection Luke Heyman drilled his first professional homer in Salem over the weekend.
The 14th round selection by the Seattle Mariners was traded to the Red Sox organization, currently with Single-A Affiliate Salem RidgeYaks.
Hitting 41 homers in his time as a Gator, Heyman is currently batting .222 with four RBIs and a homer across 18 at bats this season.
