GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A pair of crashes blocked lanes on the Loop 101 in Glendale on Tuesday morning.
Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on the Loop 101 Agua Fria freeway near 67th Avenue when another crash occurred in the backup.
DPS said the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and suffered an ankle injury. They added that the motorcycle may have struck a barrier wall in the crash.

The response to these crashes blocked the right two lanes on westbound Loop 101, creating a growing backup near 67th Avenue. The closure has since been lifted.
