A man was shot and seriously injured at Oakland Lake Park in Fort Worth on Saturday, June 21, police said.
Officers responded to a shooting at 9:30 p.m. at 1501 Lake Shore Drive, police said.
When officers arrived at the scene they found a man who had a gunshot wound to his upper right thigh, police said.
The victim was given emergency medical attention to stop the bleeding. The injury was believed to be serious but not life-threatening, police said.
The man was taken to a hospital for medical care, police said.
Police said the man was shot by people in a white vehicle, possibly a Jaguar.
The Gang and Gun Violence unit will be investigating the circumstances of the shooting, police said.
