Officials in Philadelphia have identified a suspect wanted in connection with the mass shooting that happened at lounge on July 5.
Nino DaSilvio, 22, is charged with aggravated assault and weapons possession charges after eight people were hurt in a shooting at the 7 Elements Lounge in South Philly, officials said.
The shooting occurred at around 3:53 a.m. on July 5, 2025, at the 7 Elements restaurant, bar and lounge on Washington Avenue.
Police said an argument occurred at the business shortly before 4 a.m. that morning which escalated into a fight involving knives. As security guards tried to intervene, at least one person pulled out a gun and opened fire. One of the security guards also pulled out a weapon and fired, police said.
Eight people, including a security guard, were shot. All of the victims were listed in stable condition and expected to survive.
Police previously arrested a security guard working that night at the restaurant, 43-year-old Michael Welton, and charged him with attempted murder, aggravated assault, possessing an instrument of crime and recklessly endangering another person.
The 7 Elements restaurant has also had its bar license revoked by the city’s Department of Licenses and Inspections for unspecified violations.
