All lanes of state Route 67 near Iron Mountain east of Poway have been shut down due to a crash that sparked a small brush fire Friday afternoon.
The crash on Highway 67 between Poway Road and Scripps Poway Parkway was reported at about 12:40 a.m. as a vehicle rollover that began spreading to nearby vegetation. Cal Fire San Diego crews responded and quickly halted the spread at a half-acre.
@CALFIRESANDIEGO is at scene with cooperators of a small vegetation fire along Highway 67 south of Poway Road in Poway. Fire spread has been stopped at 1/2 acre and started from a vehicle accident.

It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries. Video from the scene showed at least two vehicles involved. One appeared to be charred on the shoulder of the roadway, while another sat crushed in the median several feet away.
All lanes of SR-67 between Poway Road and Scripps Poway Parkway were expected to be shut down for at least three hours as crews continued to contain the small blaze and California Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
