The last 18 months have been frustrating. They have tested Bryce Hopkins’ patience. 

Basketball was taken away from the uber-talented forward Jan. 3, 2024, the day he suffered a torn ACL. He has played three games since. 

But all that inactivity, the torn ACL and a bone bruise in the same left knee that limited him to three games last season, provided a positive. 

It gave the Providence transfer a different vantage point of the sport he loves.
