CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Duke Blue Devils star Isaiah “Showtime Slim” Evans announced on Wednesday that he will be forgoing his remaining years of eligibility and entering the NBA Draft.
The former North Mecklenburg star announced on Instagram on Wednesday, April 22, that he will be entering the 2026 NBA Draft after two seasons in Durham.
Evans was a Third-Team All-ACC selection after averaging 15 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game last season.
The sharpshooter had nine games last season with at least 20 points are more. The Blue Devils were 9-0 in those games.
In his two year career at Duke, Showtime Slim made 163 3-points while shooting 38% from behind the arc. He also won 70 games with the Blue Devils, including a trip to the Final Four and the Elite 8.
Evans is projected to be a late-lottery to a mid-first round pick for the 2026 NBA Draft.
