Barcelona have confirmed that defender Trilli has become the latest youngster to leave the club this summer.
The 22-year-old right-back has left Barcelona Atletic and moved on to Real Valladolid. Barca do have a sell-on clause on the defender.
Here’s the club’s official statement:
“FC Barcelona and Real Valladolid have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Álvaro Pérez Trilli. The Club reserves a % of a future sale of the Galician full-back.
The Club wishes him the best of luck and success in the future, both personally and professionally.”
Trilli arrived two seasons ago from Deportivo La Coruna and there were high hopes he could potentially go on and break into the first team.
However, his time at Barcelona has been disrupted by injuries, and he’s now decided to look for a new challenge following relegation last season.
Good luck at Real Valladolid, Trilli!
