The Kansas City Royals take on the Los Angeles Angels on Friday, April 24, with first pitch set for 6:40 p.m. at Kauffman Stadium.
Fans in Nebraska can catch all the action live and free over the air on CW Nebraska starting at 6:30 p.m.
Kansas City fans in Nebraska will have access to 10 games on free over-the-air Gray Media-owned channels this season, the second year of the partnership.
KOLN/KSNB/KNOP-TV General Manager, Jacque Harms, says, “Nebraskans have a long and storied history of cheering for the Royals, and we are proud to bring that tradition directly into the living rooms of our viewers for free. By partnering with Gray Media television stations, KOLN, KSNB, and KNOP’s family of channels are ensuring that fans from Lincoln to Grand Island/Hastings and North Platte don’t miss a moment of these marquee matchups. In an era of shifting sports media, our commitment remains clear: providing high-quality, local access to the teams our community loves most.”
“There is nothing quite like the energy of Royals baseball, and we are thrilled to be the home for free, over-the-air games across Nebraska this season,” Harms said. “From the historic home opener in March to the heat of the summer pennant race, our viewers can count on KOLN, KSNB, and KNOP’s family of channels to deliver the action. We know how much this team means to our region, and we can’t wait to celebrate every home run with the best fans in baseball.”
