Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark celebrated her third anniversary with boyfriend Connor McCaffery on Saturday, April 25, 2026, marking a personal milestone just as the WNBA kicks off a season featuring a record-breaking national television schedule for her team.
Clark shared a tribute to McCaffery on social media, wearing a blue satin dress to mark their three years together since meeting at the University of Iowa. McCaffery, a former Butler University assistant coach, also posted a commemorative message as Clark prepares for her sophomore professional campaign following an injury-shortened rookie year.
The anniversary coincides with the WNBA’s April 25 preseason launch, where the Indiana Fever will face the New York Liberty at 3:00 p.m. ET. According to the WNBA, every 2026 preseason game will be available for free streaming via the WNBA App for fans with a WNBA ID.

Indiana is set to make league history this year as the first team to have all 44 regular-season games broadcast on national television. The Fever lead the league in national exposure for the third consecutive year, with games slated across USA Network, Prime Video, ION, and ABC, as reported by Hawk Central.
“I think we’re gonna be the favorite to win it all,” Clark said in a recent interview with NBC’s NBA coverage. “I think it adds a little pressure, but that’s what you love about it. But we’ve got a great squad, great coach, great support staff.”
The 2026 regular season officially begins on Friday, May 8, with the Fever opening their schedule against the Dallas Wings on May 9. The league will pause from August 31 to September 16 for the FIBA Women’s World Cup, where Clark is expected to compete for Team USA.

WNBA expansion also highlights the 2026 calendar, with the Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo making their preseason debuts on April 29. Following the conclusion of preseason play, WNBA teams must finalize their official rosters by May 7, 2026.
