Timelapse Shows ‘Monster’ Supercell Near Fort Worth as Deadly Storms Hit North Texas

Timelapse footage captured multiple lightning strikes as a “monster storm” raged near Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday, April 25.

Matt Lantz captured video of the storm system near Aledo in Parker County, describing it as a supercell.

“Time lapse of a monster storm as it tore thorough Jack and into Parker counties last night,” Lantz wrote on X.

“Had to bail on this shot because the circulation was headed straight for my home. Thankfully it dissipated just before passing less than 10 miles from us,” he wrote.
