Police are asking for the public’s help in an investigation into a fire at an abandoned building in Jacksonville.

According to the Jacksonville Police Department, officers and Jacksonville Fire and Emergency Services responded around 12:37 a.m. April 5 to a fire at a building on North Marine Boulevard. When crews arrived, they found the structure fully engulfed in flames.

Officials said no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but authorities believe it was started by an unknown individual, either intentionally or accidentally.
