SAN ANTONIO – A teen is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle on the Southeast side.
The incident occurred Friday night at approximately 9 PM in the 1800 block of S. WW White Road.
SAPD says the teen was riding his bicycle without lights and attempted to cross the roadway when he was hit by a northbound vehicle.
The driver immediately stopped, helped the cyclist, and cooperated fully with investigators. Authorities confirmed the driver was not intoxicated, and no criminal charges are expected.
The victim was transported with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.
