Arts for All Festival at Cummer Museum
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens wrapped up two days of its annual Arts for All Festival, welcoming kids with differing abilities from across Northeast Florida for art, music and time in the gardens.
The award-winning program, now in its 31st year, is designed to give students a positive, supportive place to explore creativity beyond their usual routines. Children took part in hands-on art activities throughout the museum’s galleries, studios and outdoor spaces, while volunteers helped lead activities after gathering for orientation.
The festival also included a musical performance from Pine Castle for volunteers.
The museum had said this year it expected 361 students and more than 100 teachers and chaperones from 16 schools to attend in person, with another 1,738 students from 34 schools participating virtually.
