SAN ANTONIO – A suspect is behind bars after allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage family member.

On Friday, 30-year-old Aubrey Kennard Bailey was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a teenage family member.

According to court records, on February 15, 2025, multiple family members, including the victim, the victim’s mother, and Bailey, arrived at a local AirBnB from Houston.

The victim told police that towards the end of the night, the suspect allegedly came downstairs to where the victim was sleeping, and provided her with alcohol, before sexually assaulting her.

Police say that during the assault, the victim told Bailey that she was underage, and Bailey claimed not to know that the victim was a minor.

Bailey allegedly fled the scene, and the victim promptly made an outcry to their mother. Bailey then allegedly contacted his own mother and told him he would be seeking legal counsel.

Aubrey Kennard Bailey has been charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and is being held in the Bexar County Jail on a $85,000 bond.
