  • SAHARAN DUST: Hazy Sunday & Monday

  • TEMPS: Near 100° each day

  • RAIN: Small chance next weekend (7/26 & 7/27). Watching Gulf closely

FORECAST

SUNDAY

There could be a few sprinkles in the morning, but otherwise it’ll be a mostly cloudy but hot day. Expect a high in the upper-90s. There will be a little bit of Saharan dust allowing for a haze on the horizon. Expect the dust Monday, too.

A light plume of Saharan dust will be overhead Sunday & Monday, creating a haze on the horizon (Copyright 2025 by KSAT – All rights reserved.)

THIS WEEK

The heat high will be the dominant weather pattern. So, highs will be near 100° each day. It’ll be dry.

WHAT WE’RE WATCHING

We’ll be watching the Gulf closely next weekend (7/26 & 7/27) (Copyright 2025 by KSAT – All rights reserved.)

There are some indications that we could have a low pressure system in the Gulf by the end of this upcoming week. In theory, it could move onshore to Texas next Saturday (7/26) or Sunday (7/27). For that reason, we’ve introduced a small chance for rain next weekend.

But here’s the thing: The low has not even formed yet. That means there will be changes in this forecast based off of where the low forms AND where it moves. We’ll keep you posted on the latest.
