A decades-old mystery may finally be solved. A woman known as “Harris County Jane Doe,” whose body was found in a wooded area of Houston on Sept. 8, 1992, has reportedly been identified.
The woman, believed to be white and between 20 and 30 years old, remained unidentified for 32 years. Her case, listed as #1350UFTX, was undergoing forensic genetic genealogy testing through Moxxy Forensics.
Her NamUs file was recently removed. However, no official name or further details have been released.
