If the Phoenix Public Library doesn’t have a book you want, there may still be a way to get it.
As of December, Phoenix Public Library is now participating in Maricopa County’s MAX library access sharing service.
Residents searching for a book on the library’s website can select the “Find from MAX” option if a book has no available copies in Phoenix’s system. MAX will search for an available copy from all 15 library systems in the county. If it is available, the Phoenix library card holder can select which Phoenix library branch to pick it up from and it will be shipped there for them to check it out.
