No injuries after a fire broke out at a duplex near 24th & Van Buren streets in Phoenix.
PHOENIX — A fire broke out at a duplex near 24th and Van Buren streets Saturday morning, said Phoenix fire.
Firefighters responded to reports of an apartment fire around 10:15 a.m.
When crews arrived, they found smoke and fire coming from the back of a single-story duplex, and it had extended into multiple structures, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
Fire crews cleared the occupants and quickly extinguished the fire.
A couple of duplex units were affected by the fire, a total of six people were displaced and no injuries resulted from the fire, said Phoenix Fire.
The Community Assistance Program is on scene to assist the displaced with their needs.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
