JACKSONVILLE, N.C. A 22-year-old Jacksonville man is facing multiple charges, including a felony involving a minor, following an incident at a local hotel parking lot.
According to arrest warrants issued by Jacksonville Police, Carl Walker was arrested Sunday in connection to an incident that occurred May 2 at the Rodeway Inn & Suites parking lot.
Records allege Walker exposed himself in a public place in the presence of others, including a minor. A second count of indecent exposure involves another individual who was present at the time.
In addition to the exposure charges, warrants state Walker was involved in a crash in the same parking lot that caused damage to property, specifically fencing, and then left the scene without providing required information. Investigators say he knew or should have known he was involved in the crash.
Walker is charged with felony indecent exposure involving a minor, misdemeanor indecent exposure, and misdemeanor hit-and-run causing property damage.
He is being held at the Onslow County Jail without bond. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday, May 4.
