Skies are clear this morning with a chill in the air typical of early May, but with plenty of sunshine and a southwesterly wind, we’ll see a warm up into the mid 70s today.

A really nice spring day warming to 76° for Philadelphia this afternoon, our normal high is 71°.

Turning summer-like tomorrow.

Sunshine with southwesterly winds winds gusting 25 to 30 m.p.h., will boost us up to 86° Tuesday.

Late Tuesday, an approaching a cold front give us a chance of some showers to the north and west and then bring the rest of the area rain Wednesday.

Another round of rain showers Thursday and a little chillier in the wake of that cold front. We’ll be struggling to reach the 60° mark, looking for a high of 59° in Philadelphia.

Sunshine is back Friday, and the weekend’s looking pretty good too with upper 60s Friday and Saturday and back to the 70s Sunday.

Right now, the weekend does look partly cloudy, though there is a chance we’ll see some scattered showers on the light side Saturday.

Stay tuned!
