DENTON, Texas (KLTV) — Former Jacksonville Maiden Riley Todd had two hits and drove in two runs in Texas Woman’s 5-3 loss to Texas A&M-Kingsville in the first game of a doubleheader split on Sunday.
Batting eighth and starting in left field, the senior batted 2-for-4. Todd had RBI singles in the fourth and seventh innings. Todd finished the regular season with 26 RBIs and a .293 batting average.
Texas Woman’s won the second game, 5-2. Todd had a walk and scored a run.
For Texas A&M-Kingsville, Kristina Nash of Woodville pitched 1 1/3 innings, giving up one earned run on two hits and two walks.
Texas Woman’s (29-25, 23-17) finished in seventh place in the Lone Star Conference. The team will compete in the conference tournament starting Wednesday.
