We’re beginning the week with more of the same. After a mild, muggy start to Monday, another hot and humid day is on the way with a mixture of sun and clouds. Highs will climb into the mid-90s, with heat index values into the upper-90s to lower-100s. The Gulf breeze may bring some rain chances to our southeastern counties.
The seasonal “heat dome” of high pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere will continue to stay situated nearby. This pattern will keep North Texas hot, humid and dry.
