PHOENIX — A paramedic reportedly has been accused of fraudulently obtaining fentanyl from the Phoenix Fire Department.
Anthony Amplo was indicted on March 26 for obtaining or procuring narcotic drugs by fraud, deceit, misrepresentation or subterfuge in August 2025.
According to ABC15, Amplo allegedly used another first responder’s personal identification number to obtain 20 vials of fentanyl from medication vending machines at two fire stations.
