The “Nomade” sculpture has returned to the Papajohn Sculpture Park in downtown Des Moines after being temporarily removed for refurbishment. The sculpture was disassembled in October 2025 to be updated and refurbished. The Des Moines Art Center received a $113,000 grant from Prairie Meadows to transform and refurbish sculptures throughout the park. The Papajohn Sculpture Park is open daily and features works by internationally known artists.
