TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – A new coyote sculpture named Dodger now stands at the intersection of Grant Road and Dodge Boulevard as part of the Grant Road Improvement Project.

The public art piece sits in a detention basin designed to reduce flooding on Grant Road. The basin collects stormwater and safely releases it into the drainage system to keep water moving through the area.

The sculpture was installed as part of Phases 3 and 4 of the Grant Road Improvement Project, according to the Tucson Department of Transportation & Mobility.
