JSO said to avoid the area of San Pablo Road and Atlantic Boulevard “for your safety.”
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported a heavy police presence at the intersection of San Pablo Road and Atlantic Boulevard, and are asking the public to avoid the area.
JSO officials told First Coast News they are searching for an individual in the area of the Walmart at 1650 San Pablo Road.
Traffic is being rerouted around the area, and JSO said they will give further updates when they are available.
The nearby River City Science Academy is under a lockout, not allowing anyone to enter or leave their campus.
